“Derek was recommended through a friend. We haven’t done construction before, but we had a vision, and he was able to see that vision. Once he got to know us, he understood the style and quality we wanted, and it was carried out between both projects.”
“When there was an issue, it was handled immediately and effectively – we never had to be involved. And their website is really useful, too. We were able to communicate through it and get project updates. It’s just wonderful customer service.”
Cesar Chavez, San Francisco
Designed by John Maniscalco Architecture, 2350 Broadway was expanded by excavating a new basement level that consists of an in-ground pool, exercise area, sauna and full bath with a steam shower. The main level was reframed to open the Living/Dining area to an open span of 30’ by 30’ which opens to a Kitchen clad almost entirely in Calacatta Oro marble. The main stair, which won a Merit Award by the American Institute of Architects, San Francisco Chapter, incorporates a three story wood fin screen, glass catwalks and a five story elevator. The home now boasts six full bed/bath suites and has a total of seven full baths and two half baths.
